I got a new toy!

This is so incredible! Me so happy! Yesterday I decided that I wanted to own a Ripstick, you know, one of those wave-board things? I've wanted one for quite awhile, like since the SATs I've fantasized of getting "rewarded" with something fun.

So my dad drove us to Sports Authority, Annette and I used our own money to buy 2 boards (they cost about $80 each) and we walked out of the store happy. And no, I did not get a pink board, like pictured here. I got a blue one, just like Annette. If I did get a pink one, though, that would be awesome. ^,^

I've been having so much fun with this! I mastered the board in, what, 5 minutes? I'm like a pro! Well, maybe not a real pro. We got a free how-to-ride dvd with the Ripstick and it showed these professional riders doing all kinds of stunts. I'm definitely not there yet. But I know how to ride off of a sidewalk onto a street and not fall off. I think there should be a skatepark somewhere near us. I'd like to test it out there.

Today I woke up early so my sister and I could "rip" to the supermarket, which is normally our walking route. We are getting soo good. This could be like a new hobby of mine. Hey, does anyone else out there know how to ride a board or something?

My brother got one once, and whenever I ride it, I seem to fall down.

I wish I could, but I don't do well with anything on my feet!

I can't ice-skate, roller blade, in-line skate, skateboards, ripstick...I can hardly even use a scooter right!!!

but I can bike, and I can go pretty fast with one! ^.~

so while you have style, I have speed.

but that is SO cool! maybe someday you can show me how to use one...

Andrew tried to show me how to skateboard, and after 2 hours gave up. While Jessica has tried for about 4 years to get me to learn how to both ice-skate and roller blade! blah >.<, but again, I can run pretty fast, so its not like they can catch up! (well, Jessica might, she is really really fast on skates....)

in my last post, Dessel was an orphan word. and I realized Something was not grammatically correct. there should be a " after fired.....

I tried to ride one once, and though the store guy said I was doing well I was sooooo not comfortable on it. I can't even skateboard, either. I need something to hold onto with my hands or I fall over. Scooters are good for me.

Thanks for your support, guys. You're going to hear more of my boarding escapades real soon.

Jacoby. I don't mean to sound like the grammar police, but you completely misspelled both destruction (distruction) and destroyed (deytored(?)) What's wrong with that?

Also, it's probably too early for me to be commenting on your story, but I can't tell whether you're telling it in first person or third. You should fix that for sure before I can read it.

You know, now I think on it, I believe there's also a computer program called Dreamweaver. It's like an Adobe product that helps construct websites or something. Don't mean to bring you down any further, but I thought you should know.
