What makes him so famous: He's a friendly, British author of kooky literary mystery. He wrote some of my favorite books, including the Nursery Crime series, the Thursday Next series, and most recently, Shades Of Grey, which is going to be a trilogy.

What makes her so famous: What?! You have to ask? This is Mary Poppins, Maria Von Trapp, The Queen of Far Far Away! How can you not know who she is?!

What makes her so famous: She wrote the best-selling Hunger Games trilogy, not to mention lots of other books, like the Gregor the Overlander series. (I only read the first book of that, though.)
