Cashflow is seriously addicting. I'm learning a lot from the people I play with, and I'm advancing in rank very quickly. I am almost an S5, and it only took me 2 weeks to make it there. It seems most people need 2 months to do the same thing. ^_^
The sound effects and background game music slightly annoy me, so I replace it with playlists from YouTube. Mostly my sound of choice is Bruno Mars (a new favorite artist of mine ^_^), but I've also been listening to P!nk, Owl City, Uncle Kracker, Justin Bieber, just random popular artists whose songs I've liked, but never heard their full repertoire. It's a lot of fun. But more often than not, I'm hearing Bruno Mars. Totally awesome.
I've also been pretty busy because my grandparents were visiting from Israel this whole week, plus my Aunt Lisa (visiting from California) came by for a few days as well. We had lots of fun with all of them. ^_^
I'm thinking maybe I can be a mad scientist or something, with my new crazy goggles. Just need a lab coat and doctor accessories. But the clown nose... O,o Don't ask.
On Aunt Lisa's last day with us, she took my brother, sister and I to Borders to buy us anything we wanted. Guess what I asked for? ^_^
Yep, the Scorch Trials! I read it in just a matter of days, and seriously, this is gold!!! James Dashner is a friggin' genius! He's my hero! The way he writes this story is like I'm watching a movie in my head, and a very well-written one, at that. ^_^ He puts a cliff-hanger at the end of every... single... chapter, which made me go through the book faster than I would have liked. I couldn't stop reading!!! I was kept in suspense throughout the whole thing. The new characters introduced here are fabulous, and a TON of new questions pop up to torture you, even when you put the book down.
I'm a little sad, because I haven't been posting much in my book blog, like a good reviewer. ~,~ I am reading a lot, but I move on to the next book too quickly to think about how much I enjoyed what I just read. I'm thinking maybe I'll quit posting on Bettina's Book Club. In fact, perhaps I'll stop reviewing books altogether... Except for the extremely good ones (like this one). Trust me, this I extremely recommend. ^_^ If you haven't read the book before it, Maze Runner, you must get ahold of both books ASAP and get ready for the ride of your life.
My sister the artist decided to join Deviant Art yesterday. ^_^ She calls herself the CartoonConnoisseur. (Don't know why, but she does really love cartoons.) I think Annette is getting a real kick out of it. She uploaded a couple favorite images, but has been using DevArt's drawing tool, Muro, to make, in my opinion, completely awesome pieces!!! Keep a watch on her! (Jacoby, as a Deviously Deviant member, would you happen to have any advice for a new member such as my twin? ^_~)
Oh yeah, and we've discovered the Nostalgia Critic videos. They are hilarious to the max!!! XD If you wanna have a good, hearty LOL about films from your childhood, you've gotta check this guy out. He posts a new video every week. ^_^

Well, I think that's really all I have to say in this catch-up post. Thanks for reading!

Seems a lot of people have been in a funk about keeping up with blogging, but it sounds like you had some good times with the family! I may just have to check out that book then, since I been reading a lot of varied writers lately and am loving my new discoveries!
Ah, family time. The perfect excuse to procrastinate.
I need to get my hands on a Dashner book.
Mad scientist idea = win. Unless something better comes up.
Oooohhhh deviant art. Haven't been there for a loooong while.
Nooo don't give up on the book blog! I still do read it, even if I don't comment much. If it's kind of a chore, then simply listing the one's you read and reviewing on the ones you had a lot to say about wouldn't do any harm.
